1. Sponsor

All giveaways described here are sponsored by The Painted Few, LLC, 4582 Kingwood Drive, Suite E, PO Box 120, Kingwood, TX 77345 (“Sponsor”).

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry (or the age of majority in their state of residence, if higher). Residents of Alaska and Hawaii are not eligible. Employees of Sponsor or household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

3. State Exclusions

Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude residents of any state where registration and/or bonding requirements would otherwise be triggered by a given drawing’s prize value, in lieu of completing such registration and bonding. Any such exclusion will be stated at the time of that drawing.

4. Entry Periods

The Monthly Original Painting Drawing runs on a rolling monthly basis, beginning on the 1st and ending on the last day of each calendar month, with that month’s drawing held in the first few days of the following month. The Quarterly Trip Drawing runs each seasonal quarter, with the drawing held shortly after the season’s final entry period closes. Entries received before or after the applicable period are void.

Season Schedule

The year is divided into four three-month seasons:

  • Season 1: December – February
  • Season 2: March – May
  • Season 3: June – August
  • Season 4: September – November

Drawing Schedule (applies to every season)

Within each season:

  • Each of the three monthly original-painting drawings draws only from mail-in entries received during the single calendar month immediately before that drawing — specifically, entries received from the 1st of that preceding month through the cutoff date below. Entries from any earlier month are not carried forward or combined into a later drawing; an entry is only eligible for the one drawing it was received in time for.
  • The mail-in cutoff for each monthly drawing is five (5) days before the end of that immediately preceding month.
  • The quarterly trip drawing draws from mail-in entries received across all three months of that season — from the 1st of the season’s first month through the cutoff date below.
  • The mail-in cutoff for the trip drawing is five (5) days before the end of the season’s third month.
  • Membership entries for each Monthly Original Painting Drawing are based on active membership status at the time of that drawing. Membership entries for the Quarterly Trip Drawing accrue once for each calendar month of the applicable season during which the membership is active and in good standing, and the three monthly allocations are combined for the quarterly drawing, as described in Section 5(A). Mail-in entries received after a period’s cutoff roll into the next applicable drawing.

5. How to Enter — Two Methods

(A) Membership Entries

Active, paid members receive entries automatically based on their current membership tier. For each Monthly Original Painting Drawing, a member receives the tier amount listed below if the membership is active and in good standing on the drawing date. For each Quarterly Trip Drawing, a member receives the listed vacation-entry amount once for each calendar month of the applicable three-month season during which the membership is active and in good standing; those monthly allocations are then combined for the quarterly drawing. A membership that begins during a season receives vacation entries only for the season months during which it is active. “Active” means a paid membership in good standing that has not lapsed, expired, or been cancelled; a membership whose payment has failed or whose prepaid term has ended without renewal is not active after that point.

  • Passport (month-to-month, cancel anytime): 10 entries in each Monthly Original Painting Drawing and 10 vacation entries per active month, up to 30 standard vacation entries in a full three-month season
  • Explorer (3-month term): 20 entries in each Monthly Original Painting Drawing and 20 vacation entries per active month, up to 60 standard vacation entries in a full three-month season
  • Voyager (6-month term): 40 entries in each Monthly Original Painting Drawing and 40 vacation entries per active month, up to 120 standard vacation entries in a full three-month season
  • Collector (12-month term): 60 entries in each Monthly Original Painting Drawing and 60 vacation entries per active month, up to 180 standard vacation entries in a full three-month season

(B) 2026 Launch Bonus Entries

A new member who completes a paid membership signup on or before October 15, 2026 receives an additional two hundred (200) entries in the Season 1 Quarterly Trip Drawing. A new member who completes a paid membership signup from October 16 through November 30, 2026 receives an additional one hundred (100) entries in the Season 1 Quarterly Trip Drawing. Each launch bonus is added to the member’s combined monthly vacation entries for that quarterly drawing, applies only to the Quarterly Trip Drawing, and does not apply to any Monthly Original Painting Drawing. The membership must remain active and in good standing at the time of the Quarterly Trip Drawing to receive the applicable bonus entries.

Except for the launch bonus expressly described above, no additional purchase, donation, or payment beyond an entrant’s existing membership is required or accepted to increase entries.

(C) Mail-In Entries (No Purchase Necessary)

Any person, whether or not a member, may enter for free by mail. Send a hand-addressed envelope to:

The Painted Few
4582 Kingwood Drive, Suite E
PO Box 120
Kingwood, TX 77345

Requirements

  • The envelope must be hand-addressed by the entrant and bear valid U.S. postage in the form of a real, adhesive postage stamp. Metered, permit, pre-printed, or any other automated postage will not be accepted.
  • Each envelope may enter only one (1) drawing. To enter both the Monthly Original Painting Drawing and the Quarterly Trip Drawing, send two separate envelopes, each hand-addressed and separately stamped.
  • Enclose a single sheet of paper, hand-written by the entrant, including:
    • Full name
    • Complete mailing address
    • Phone number
    • Email address
    • Which drawing this envelope is entering: the Monthly Original Painting Drawing or the Quarterly Trip Drawing
  • Each envelope may contain only one (1) mail-in entry. Envelopes containing more than one entry will be void.
  • Each properly submitted mail-in entry is worth one (1) entry in the drawing specified on that entry.
  • There is no limit on the number of eligible mail-in entries an individual may submit for either drawing, provided every entry independently satisfies all requirements in this Section. Each entry must be submitted one at a time in its own hand-addressed, separately stamped envelope. Sponsor may reject entries that do not meet these requirements or that Sponsor reasonably believes were submitted using automated or bulk means.
  • Mail-in entries must be received by Sponsor no later than the specific cutoff date stated for the applicable drawing (see Section 4).
  • Sponsor does not confirm receipt of mail-in entries. Entrants who want proof of mailing should retain their own USPS receipt.

6. Equal Odds

Entries received by mail are placed into the same drawing pool as membership entries and have the same chance of being selected as any other entry of equal value. Method of entry does not affect the odds of any individual entry.

7. Odds

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing and cannot be calculated in advance.

8. Drawings & Prizes

Monthly Original Painting Drawing

One (1) winner per month receives that month’s original, hand-painted work — the actual canvas the month’s print was made from. Estimated retail value varies by piece and will be stated at the time of each drawing.

Quarterly Trip Drawing

One (1) winner per quarter receives the winner’s choice of one (1) destination package from the options advertised for that quarter. Prize details and estimated retail value are stated at the time of each drawing. The terms below apply to the three-choice seasonal vacation giveaway unless a drawing-specific prize announcement states otherwise.

Trip Prize Terms

The giveaway is for one (1) winner and one (1) guest. After being notified, the winner may select one (1) of these packages: Carmel-by-the-Sea: four (4) days and three (3) nights of standard-room, double-occupancy lodging at L’Auberge Carmel; economy round-trip airfare for two (2) from the major commercial airport nearest the winner’s residence to San José International Airport (SJC); two (2) general admission tickets to the Monterey Bay Aquarium; a standard rental car for four (4) days; and one (1) $250 Visa gift card. Napa Valley: four (4) days and three (3) nights at Andaz Napa Valley; economy round-trip airfare for two (2) from the major commercial airport nearest the winner’s residence to either Oakland International Airport (OAK) or Sacramento International Airport (SMF), as selected by Sponsor and subject to availability; a standard rental car; and one (1) wine tasting for two (2) at Chandon. Maui: seven (7) nights at Hyatt Vacation Club at Ka’anapali Beach in a one-bedroom Mountain View accommodation, subject to limited availability and the winner’s flexibility with travel dates. The Maui package is lodging only; airfare, rental car, meals, ground transportation, and other travel expenses are not included. The Carmel package’s Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) is $4,250. ARV for the selected package may vary based on the winner’s departure location, travel dates, availability, and provider pricing. Any difference between a stated ARV and actual value will not be awarded.

Airfare

Where airfare is included, it is economy class for the winner and one (1) guest on the itinerary selected by Sponsor, subject to availability and the airline’s fare rules. For the Carmel package, the destination airport is San José International Airport (SJC). For the Napa Valley package, the destination airport will be either Oakland International Airport (OAK) or Sacramento International Airport (SMF), as selected by Sponsor and subject to availability. One (1) standard carry-on bag per traveler is permitted, subject to the carrier’s size and weight limits. Checked baggage is not included; any checked-bag fee, and any fee for seat selection, upgrades, priority boarding, itinerary changes, meals, or other optional services, is the sole responsibility of the winner or traveler. The winner and guest must travel together on the same outbound and return itinerary unless Sponsor approves otherwise in writing. The Maui package does not include airfare.

Rental Car

Where a rental car is included, it will be a standard vehicle option and is not required for the winner to book or use. To receive an included rental car, the primary or authorized driver must be at least twenty-five (25) years old and satisfy the rental company’s requirements for a valid driver’s license, payment card, insurance, deposit, and any other documentation. The Carmel package includes a standard rental car for four (4) days. The Napa Valley package includes a standard rental car for the advertised trip period, subject to the provider’s terms. The winner may decline a rental car without affecting the other listed prize elements, but the rental-car portion has no cash value and will not be replaced. Base rental charges are included only as stated in the prize announcement; fuel, tolls, parking, insurance, deposits, additional-driver charges, upgrades, damage charges, and other provider fees are the winner’s responsibility. The Maui package does not include a rental car.

Booking, Travel Window & Availability

The winner must submit the requested traveler information and itinerary choices in time for the selected trip to be booked at least three (3) months, or ninety (90) calendar days, before the first scheduled travel date. Requests made fewer than three (3) months before travel are not guaranteed and may result in forfeiture if the prize cannot be arranged. The winner must both book and complete all travel within one (1) year of the date the prize is awarded. Travel dates are subject to the availability of flights, lodging, rental car, admissions, tasting reservations, and any other included elements at the time of booking, as well as the winner’s own availability. The Maui package has limited lodging availability and requires the winner to be flexible with travel dates; a requested date or specific room view is not guaranteed if unavailable. Sponsor and the winner will work together in good faith to find mutually available travel dates within the one-year window. If no mutually available dates can be arranged within that window, or if the winner cannot accommodate the availability requirements of the selected package, the prize may be forfeited, and Sponsor may select an alternate winner per Section 9.

2027 Holiday & Peak-Travel Blackout Dates

Travel may not be booked for, or include, any of the following inclusive periods. This schedule uses the observed 2027 federal holiday calendar as a baseline and adds surrounding high-demand travel days. Spring-break dates vary by school district, so the spring-break window below is intentionally broad.

  • New Year’s Day and winter holiday travelJanuary 1–3, 2027
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day weekend (holiday: January 18)January 15–19, 2027

  • Christmas and year-end holiday travel (observed: December 24)December 17, 2027–January 3, 2028

Additional provider and destination restrictions also apply. These may include dates designated as peak or blackout dates by the selected hotel, airline, rental-car company, aquarium, winery, tasting venue, or other included provider, plus destination-specific high-demand periods such as Monterey Car Week and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Napa Valley harvest and festival weekends, Maui holiday periods, summer weekends, local festivals, and other high-demand dates. Provider-specific restrictions may change before booking and control if they are more restrictive than this list. Sponsor will provide available alternatives when reasonably possible.

Other Trip Costs & Traveler Requirements

Only the elements expressly listed in the applicable destination package are included. The winner and guest are responsible for meals, beverages, gratuities, hotel incidentals, room upgrades, extra nights, local transportation other than a listed rental car, parking, tolls, checked baggage, optional airline services, travel insurance, personal purchases, mandatory fees collected at the destination, and all applicable taxes. For the Maui package specifically, airfare, rental car, meals, ground transportation, and other travel expenses are not included. The winner must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, and each traveler must meet the age, identification, health, insurance, and other requirements of the airlines, lodging providers, rental car companies, attractions, tasting venues, and destinations involved. If the winner or guest cannot use an included element, that element is forfeited with no substitute or cash value unless the prize announcement expressly states otherwise.

Traveler Requirements

The winner must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Each traveler must meet any age, identification, or other requirements of the airlines, lodging providers, rental car companies, or destinations involved. For any trip requiring international travel, each traveler is solely responsible for obtaining and paying for a valid passport, any required visas, and any other travel documents, as well as complying with all entry, health, and customs requirements of the destination country; failure to obtain required travel documents does not extend the travel window and may result in forfeiture of the prize.

A random drawing is conducted from all eligible entries after the close of each entry period.

Multiple Wins Permitted

There is no limit on the number of drawings any one eligible entrant may win. The same person may win more than one monthly original painting drawing, may win both a monthly painting drawing and the quarterly trip drawing, and remains eligible for every drawing they have entered regardless of any prior win.

9. Winner Notification

The potential winner is notified by email (and, at Sponsor’s discretion, by phone) using the contact information provided at entry. The potential winner must respond within seven (7) days of notification to claim the prize. If no response is received in that time, or the potential winner is found ineligible, Sponsor may select an alternate winner using the same random-drawing process, up to three (3) times, before deeming the prize forfeited.

10. Verification of Eligibility & Required Releases

Sponsor may require a potential winner to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release before a prize is awarded. Failure to return required documents within the time specified will result in disqualification.

Required for Trip Prizes

As a mandatory condition of receiving any quarterly trip prize, the winner — and every accompanying traveler, or a parent or legal guardian on behalf of any traveler who is a minor — must sign and return a separate written liability release and assumption-of-risk agreement provided by Sponsor, in a form satisfactory to Sponsor, before any travel is booked. That agreement will expressly address the release of claims for NEGLIGENCE and GROSS NEGLIGENCE, and no travel will be booked and no trip prize will be awarded until all required signed releases are received. Refusal or failure to sign will result in forfeiture of the prize, and Sponsor may select an alternate winner per Section 9.

11. Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on any prize received. Sponsor will issue a Form 1099-MISC to any winner receiving a prize (or combined prizes within a calendar year) valued at $600 or more, and will request a completed Form W-9 prior to prize delivery.

12. Prize Conditions

Prizes are non-transferable; no substitution is permitted by the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, BEYOND ANY WARRANTY CUSTOMARILY PROVIDED BY A THIRD-PARTY PRIZE PROVIDER (SUCH AS AN AIRLINE, HOTEL, OR RENTAL CAR COMPANY).

13. Assumption of Risk & Release

Participation in any drawing, and acceptance, possession, travel related to, or use of any prize, is voluntary.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENTRANTS ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATING IN A DRAWING AND WITH ACCEPTING, POSSESSING, TRAVELING FOR, OR USING ANY PRIZE, AND RELEASE THE PAINTED FEW, LLC, ITS OWNER, AND ITS AGENTS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, OR CAUSES OF ACTION FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, MENTAL ANGUISH, OR DEATH, HOWEVER CAUSED, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO PARTICIPATION IN ANY DRAWING OR THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, TRAVEL RELATED TO, OR USE OF ANY PRIZE — INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES.

This release does not apply to liability for willful misconduct, or to any other liability that cannot be released under applicable law. A separate signed release is required before any trip prize is awarded (see Section 10).

14. Publicity Release & Winners List

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of the winner’s first name, city, and state for advertising and promotional purposes related to the giveaway, without additional compensation.

Sponsor will publish the first name, last initial, and state of each winner on its website. With the winner’s separate consent, Sponsor may also announce winners on its social media channels. A winners list is available on the website, or by written request to the address or email in Section 21.

15. Privacy

Information submitted in connection with any drawing, whether through a membership entry or a mail-in entry, is handled in accordance with The Painted Few’s Privacy Policy, available on the website.

16. General Conditions

By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and agree that Sponsor’s decisions regarding all aspects of any drawing, including eligibility and prize awards, are final. Sponsor reserves the right to reject any entry, by any method, that does not comply with these rules. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual found tampering with the entry process, submitting fraudulent or duplicate entries, or otherwise violating these rules. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify any drawing if circumstances beyond its reasonable control — including technical failure, fraud, natural disaster, severe weather, pandemic or public-health emergency, acts of terrorism, war, government action, or any event that makes a prize destination unsafe, unreachable, or otherwise unavailable — affect its integrity, fairness, or the ability to award or fulfill a prize. If a drawing is cancelled or shortened for such a reason, Sponsor may, at its discretion, award the prize from eligible entries received up to that point, substitute a prize of equal or greater value, or void the affected drawing with no obligation to award that prize.

17. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, LATE, MISDIRECTED, INCOMPLETE, OR ILLEGIBLE ENTRIES, OR FOR TECHNICAL FAILURES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WHERE CAUSED BY THE RELEASED PARTIES’ OWN NEGLIGENCE.

Third-Party Providers

ANY AIRLINE, HOTEL, RENTAL CAR COMPANY, TOUR OPERATOR, OR OTHER THIRD PARTY PROVIDING ANY PORTION OF A PRIZE IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SERVICES IT PROVIDES. SPONSOR IS NOT AN AGENT OF, AND DOES NOT CONTROL, ANY SUCH PROVIDER, AND IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ACTS, OMISSIONS, DELAYS, CANCELLATIONS, OR FOR ANY INJURY, DAMAGE, OR LOSS ARISING FROM THEIR SERVICES.

Cap on Damages

EXCEPT AS STATED IN THE EXCEPTIONS BELOW, THE RELEASED PARTIES’ MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY DRAWING, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY — INCLUDING CLAIMS BASED ON THE RELEASED PARTIES’ OWN NEGLIGENCE OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE — IS LIMITED TO THE STATED ESTIMATED RETAIL VALUE OF THE PRIZE AT ISSUE. ENTRANTS WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO CLAIM CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, AND, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAIVE ANY RIGHTS TO CLAIMS THAT ARE NOT KNOWN OR SUSPECTED TO EXIST AT THE TIME THESE RULES ARE ACCEPTED.

Exceptions

NOTHING IN THESE RULES LIMITS OR EXCLUDES LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH CAUSED BY SPONSOR’S WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR FOR ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

Severability of This Section

IF ANY PORTION OF THIS SECTION 17 IS FOUND UNENFORCEABLE, THAT PORTION WILL BE SEVERED AND THE REMAINING PORTIONS WILL CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.

18. Time Limit on Claims

Any claim arising from or relating to any drawing must be brought within two (2) years and one (1) day after the date the cause of action accrues. Claims brought after that period are barred. If this limitations period is found shorter than the minimum permitted by applicable law, it will instead be the shortest period permitted by that law.

19. Severability

If any provision of these rules is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

20. Governing Law & Venue

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these rules or any drawing must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

21. Questions & Requesting Rules or Winner Information

For questions, a copy of these rules, or the name of a winner, email support@thepaintedfew.com or write to the address in Section 5, referencing the specific drawing by name.

Working draft note: obtain legal review before publishing. A drawing-specific prize announcement may include additional or more specific terms; where it does, that announcement controls for the applicable drawing.
